Olympic medalist and Saunderstown native Elizabeth Beisel will return to her role as Swim Ambassador at the 43rd Save The Bay Swim on Saturday, July 27. Beisel will help kick off this year’s Swim season by leading a youth swim clinic on June 1, and by sharing workouts with the Save The Bay Swim community.

Save The Bay’s Exploration Center and Aquarium is celebrating the lighthouses of Narragansett Bay this May. Themed activities—including a lighthouse craft, scavenger hunt, and the story, “The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge,” by Hildegarde H. Swift and Lynd Ward—will educate visitors about the functions and purpose of lighthouses.
