Gale Gennaro, Director of Environmental Health & Safety at Providence College, has worked closely with Narragansett Bay Commission to ensure that the college does everything possible to keep snowmelt and rain stormwater on site, thereby reducing the amount of polluted runoff from entering Narragansett Bay. Providence College has set itself apart from other colleges in Rhode Island as an environmental advocate.

Annette is a tireless advocate for the Narrow River who has devoted 22 years of volunteer leadership and dedication to the Narrow River Preservation Association.
