The 2024 Bay Student of the Year Award Winner
Adeline Loveland
Adeline Loveland is a 1st grader from Pell Elementary School in Newport.
She joined back to back sessions of our 8 week afterschool programming at Pell during this past fall and winter. Each week she demonstrated a love for Narragansett Bay its animals and habitats and was always willing to help.
Her family has a membership to the aquarium so we see her almost every weekend enjoying it like it’s her first visit each time. In an effort all her own, Addie raised about $200 through a fundraising activity which she donated to Save The Bay.
All in all, we see in Addie someone who deeply cares about Narragansett Bay and has a bright future in marine science ahead of her!
